Today, let us thank those who told us where to look at the moon to perform Eid, where to accept the testimony, and where not to.

These are the precious GEMS that we usually forget in the joys of Eid, even though the moon of Eid brings us happiness through them.

The second name in this list which is very reliable is Sir Durand
(upon whose name is the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan)

On one side of that Border, the moon sighting is not believed to be on the other side.

The reason is obvious, now the British have not only drawn these lines, but with the help of all the texts and scientific observations, they have drawn such a smooth line that the moon seen in Jalalabad is not acceptable in Peshawar but the moon of Gwadar is acceptable in Karachi

Then there is the late Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, who along with others aligned Pakistan's Eid with its geographical boundaries.
Think for yourself, before 1971 Eid was celebrated together in East and West Pakistan. If the moon was visible in Dhaka, Islamabad used to recognize it.

Well, what happened, east pakistan was so far away, Between the two is India.
Then how was it possible to celebrate Eid together?

So this problem was solved and now both countries do not recognize each other's moon
