There is speculation related to the concept of termini being used as portals/interdimensional gateways to travel through. It is believed that the Old World civilisation had advanced knowledge of the cosmos and would use termini or transportation hubs as portals to travel through.

Termini were locations that had a high concentration of energy, such as at the intersection of ley lines These locations were often marked by historical monuments, such as arches, obelisks, keystones, antiquetech which were specifically designed to harness and amplify energy.

It is believed that by activating these monuments, they could create portals that would allow people to travel to different locations & lands beyond. This was achieved using advanced technologies and techniques that have been lost to time.

The portals themselves were said to be like doorways or vortexes that created a connection between two points. To activate a portal, the Old World would use a combination of sound, frequency, and vibration to create a resonance that would open the door to other dimensions/lands.
