How I would fix the Mario Movie by making 1 small change to Mario: a thread 🧵

(SPOILERS!!)

The movie starts the same way with the commercial, but instead of Mario in the commercial, we see the obscure video game character Funky Kong

and then the commercial continues but instead of luigi its funky kong

and then we meet toad but i think funky kong would be a better character to introduce here

i get why they chose peach for this scene but like thematically funky kong would make more sense

and they got thheh star and won they win

Overall these small changes would improve the pacing, flesh out some of the main characters' motivations more, and overall provide the audience with a deeper emotional impact
