ICYMI: With #HalalanUPD2023 in full force, @standupdiliman and @UPALYANSA faced the student body through UP Political Society's #Aktibisita2023 yesterday, May 4, at Alcantara Hall in the Student Union Building.

During the official UP Diliman political parties forum, Neo Aison and Louise Espiña, University Student Council (USC) Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson candidates, respectively, represented STAND UP.

Meanwhile, Jaira Del Mundo, Chairperson candidate, and Kian Noguera, Education Representative to the USC candidate, spoke for UP ALYANSA.

To start the event, political parties presented their stances and addressed issues within the university. STAND UP presented their five "uniting principles” and UP Alyansa discussed their party's four "pillars."

The forum had four discussion segments: Akti-Biglaan: a quick Q and A session, Akti-Bakbakan: a discourse of political stances, advocacies and issues and Akti-Bahagian, an open forum to address questions from the audience.

Jeman Malibiran, the event's senior vice head, concluded the event with the following words: "Bagaman iba-iba ang ating mga ideolohiya, magkaisa tayo sa ating layunin na maglingkod sa ating mga kamag-aral."

Aktibisita 2023 was the first on-ground political forum after three years since the pandemic.
