SCOOP: #PinkBeret has now been charged, just 11 days after @FBIWFO popped off a viral tweet about her.

“I stopped dead in my tracks,” her ex told me, recalling the moment his buddy showed him the tweet inside a Joann Fabrics. “I’m like, ‘That’s Jenny.’”

"Yo, I don’t think this is going to work out,” he said. “You’re, like, reading ‘Mein Kampf'.

#PinkBeret "appears to pick up a black bag near the pile of media equipment and gives it to an individual identified as Tucker Weston, an individual charged in connection with activities at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, who walks away with the black bag." nbcnews.com/politics/justi…

"In the video, she has removed her pink beret..."

"VARGAS GELLER is seen holding what appears to be a bike rack. It appears individuals near VARGAS GELLER begin destroying the bike rack. VARGAS GELLER steps back from the bike rack and appears to cheer."

(One of these other yet-to-be arrested rioters has a wild backstory.)

There's now a warrant out for #PinkBeret's arrest. nbcnews.com/politics/justi…

Didn’t have this on my bingo card a couple years ago.

If all of the violent rioters who assaulted law enforcement officers on Jan. 6 had just been wearing funny outfits they might be IDed by now.

Pitch: Rule 403, but for Twitter / real life.

Still one of my favorites:

Also very good:

A pretrial conference in Darrell Neely's case has been delayed a week. Now May 17 at noon.

Neely's attorney suggested Pink Beret was a fed, and that she "directed" his "entry into the Capitol."

Pink Beret was “central to Mr. Neely’s defense," she wrote.

"Prosecutors called that suggestion an 'improbable flight of fancy' and U.S. District Judge John Bates described the possible testimony Neely said the then-unidentified woman might be able to provide was 'no more than speculation.'"
