This doctor on Instagram has shared her personal experience where she was asked to review a woman via a mutual friend who had been arrested while protesting. She noticed deep ‘bite marks’ on her body amongst other signs of physical abuse

This young woman has been arrested by police for protesting. She says “I am from Chitral… I’m a single mother, I have a 7 year old child, I don’t have anyone else.”

This young woman is being arrested by @ICT_Police who are dragging her by pulling her hair even when she’s not resisting. A policeman says “pick up this kanjar ki bachi (a very derogatory slang in Urdu)”.

See how this policeman throws and pushes women inside the police van when they’re not even resisting. He hits the head of the second one on the police van. They were all just protesting.

You can hear women screaming in the end as the police terrorizes them. These were peaceful demonstrators in Lahore.
