#Rajput: The illegitimate offspring of the Brahman and clans originated from Brahmans.

Not too long ago, Rajus admitted their Brahminical provenance with pride. Many Raju clans of today are the progeny of Brahmins through various means including Niyog. 1/n

Before Beginning the actual thread a short info about BrahmaKshatriyas or Murdhabhishikta, The offsprings of Brahmin Father and Kshatriya Mother.
This term also refers to a Brahmin who became a Kshatriya or King by profession. 2/n

1st on our list we have a Kalchuri Raju kang Rajsingh who forced his wife to have Niyog with Brahmin which successfully resulted in the birth of a son named Bisnathsingh. The author of the snippet above notes, "This (Niyog) was an old custom especially among the Rajputs..."3/n

Next we have the Bisens or Mallas of Mahajanpada Era Whose Royal Majhauli Family have always accepted about there Brahmin Origins via Mayur Bhatt a Brahmin. Majhauli Royal family proudly accepted when asked by a british civil servant about there Brahmin origin. 4/n

However, Our Raju kangs on internet may refuse it for the sake of kanging so i'll refer to Websites operated by Rajus themselves + The genealogy of Bisens calling them Mayurbhatt-Vanshi.

Same like Bisens, Sengars too till date claim origin from a Brahmin priest Shringi and his suryavanshi wife and are categorised under BrahmaKshatriyas in 36 Rajput Clans. 6/n

However, To hide there Origin from a Brahmin rishi Shringi, Sengars have started Fabricating new baseless origins out of air. Some of them claim descent from Somvansh, some from Suryavansh while majority of them claiming Rishivanshi to be true. Funny part is Shringi is neither...

...from a lineage of Ikshvaku nor Yadu but from entirely different lineage of sage Kashyap.

Next clan on our list are Ainwar or Oinwar Rajus who are offsprings of Srotiya Maithil Brahmin named Jayapati Thakur of Oinwar Maithil Brahmin Dynasty via his Rajputani wife. 7/n

However Ainwar Rajus have fabricated an absurd and funny claim of origin from Raja Janak which we will debunk some other day.
Ainwar Rajus are also categorised as BrahmaKshatriya and Rishivanshi among 36 Rajput Clans which itself contradicts there claim from King Janaka. 8/n

Next we have the Raju clan Chaupatkhamb which is said to be descended from a 'degenerate' couple involving a Brahmin Man and Rajputani women. The Brahmin illicitly impregnated the Rajputani and was outcasted which caused his offsprings joining Rajus. 9/n

Not to be surprised, Chaupatkhambs are also mentioned as BrahmaKshatriya among 36 Rajput clans. 10/n

It must be noted that Brahmin men kept Rajputani mistresses fairly often, but owing to the impurity of such affairs, the offsprings were never admitted into the Brahmin fold but was given rank of Rajus. 11/n

The offsprings due to Anuloma marriages laws of Hinduism were treated as BrahmaKshatriyas and were rightful to kang on lineage of there mothers as they were not admitted into Brahmin fold.
Next we have Bandhalgotis, Who claim there origin from Brahmin named Chuchu Pande 12/n

You can hardly blame Bandhalgotis who now fabricated there connection with Kachwahas for more honourable origin given there ancestor was called Chuchu Pandey, if my ancestor had a name like that, even i would refuse to associate with him. 13/n

To make my argument stronger, We have another source on Bandhalgotis i.e. Ain i Akbari which notes Bandhalgoti Rajus as Bahman-goti. Needless to say anymore. 14/n

Next we have the Kanhpuria rajus, who unlike Bandhalgotis have No qualms in admitting there descent from a son of a Brahmin through the Gaharwar king Manik Chand. There's another even lesser honourable tale of origin of Kanhpurias which we shall discuss some other Day. 15/n

Hence, Famous ethnologist A.H. Bingley notes, "Thus from the illegitimate progeny of Brahmins sprang several of the Rajput clans such as Kanhpuria,Bandhalgoti and Chaupat Khamb". 16/n

Though our Raju friends may bring fabricated origins of these Raju clans,
You can also read Fraud origins of Sisodiyas whose ancestors like Bappa Rawal and BhartriBhatta were called BrahmaKshatriyas in there own Inscriptions but later fabricated... N/n

...there lineage from both Suryavansh and Chandravansh.

PS : This is small sample of Raju clans sired by Brahmins. There are many other raju clans who are categorised as BrahmaKshatriyas and Rishivanshi.
