FC Basel will play the second leg of their #UECL semi-final tomorrow night against Fiorentina. They can become the first ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ team to reach a European final.

First season at senior level aged 21 after move from second-tier Wil. Missed the opening game but scored four goals en route to the final.

Moved to Hoffenheim in 2015 after three seasons and is now a regular at Newcastle after a year in A Coruรฑa.

Joined from Jรบbilo Iwata in 2011. Played 9 times in UEL including the 120' v Spurs & 1st leg v Chelsea. Met his Swiss wife while at FCB.

Moved on in 2013 after two seasons & spent five years in ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช with Mainz & BVB. 36yo has been back in K-League since 2018.

29yo was back at Basel, a club he joined as a 12yo in 1995, after time at Dortmund, Stuttgart & Liverpool. Spent a further 4yrs at the club, won 8 titles & played 10 games of the #UEL that season.

Retired at the end of 2016 after over 200apps for FCB.

19yo had originally joined FCB on loan mid-season in 12/13. Despite missing all the Group Stage as a result, Elneny played all eight knockout matches.

Joined FCB permanently that summer and spent three years before move to current club Arsenal.

The only player to have played in both European runs. Came through the youth ranks and played all but one game in 12/13 UEL. Scored away to Spurs in QF to make it 2-0.

Joined Mainz in 2015 and spent 3yrs before return to Basel. Captains the team.

Chilean international joined FCB in 2012 and was dependable throughout. Played 11 games in UEL & scored against Zenit in L16.

Retired earlier than his twin in 2014 & is now majority shareholder at FCB.

Moved to FCB from Sion in 2013. Ivorian played 7 games in UEL & was booked 5 times. Standard.

Moved to Stuttgart in 2015, returned to FCB in 2016, scored the winning penalty as Xamax came back from 4-0 down in the play-off in 2019 & retired with Sion in 2022.

Spent 4yrs at YB before joining Basel in 2010. A regular only in his first season. Played only one UEL match.

Spent 1yr in Dubai and played for FCZ & Aarau after leaving FCB in 2013. Played for Basel II in 2019 while preparing for a trainer course.

Cape Verdean was a youth product at Lausanne and joined Basel in 2007. Most productive season was 12/13 where he played 10 UEL matches, assisting in 2-0 win v Dnipro.

Left that season for Sunderland. Played for Le Mont, FCZ & Lausanne before retirement in 2020.

Joined FCB at the beginning of 12/13. His talent was clear but his goalscoring was not what it is now. Played every game in UEL, assisted 5 & scored v Spurs & Chelsea.

Moved to Chelsea in 2014 but didn't flourish. Move to Italy came next & the rest is history.

Started his career with FCB but quickly moved on and made a mark in ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ with Rennes & BVB before returning in 2009.

He played only 6 times in UEL but scored vital late penalty in L16. Retired in April 2013 & scored FK in last game vs. Zurich. Ex-manager of FCB.

Probably the only North Korean that can say they've won the Liechtenstein Cup & played UEL football. Spent 4yrs at FCB from 2011 & made only UEL app in the groups.

Played for various clubs since including Vaduz. Was last at Avellino in Italy.

Other than a 3-year spell, Streller spent his entire career at FCB. 2nd-highest FCB scorer was vital again in UEL run.

He made 11apps, scored 4 goals and assisted in both QF matches against Spurs. Stayed at FCB until retirement in 2015.

Stocker joined FCB's youth system in 2006 and broke into the first team at age 18 in 2008. 7 assists in 13 UEL games alongside three goals, including away at Spurs.
