9) The Khunou region also faced large scale destruction. A middle aged woman was beaten up and had her arm broken
10) Police trying to rescue victims from Moreh Bazaar were attacked and had to use tear gas
11) By night a Kuki mob of thousands surrounded the police station. (5/9)

12) They stone pelted and fired at the police and Meiteis for hours. However police only used tear gas to disperse the mob after midnight
13) The Meitei were left to spend the night in the wide open space, opposite of the police station as the mob headed back for Prem Nagar (6/9)

14) The victim's home along with all other Meitei houses in TurelWangma was burnt down on May 4th. Their temples were also burnt. There was no response from police or Assam Rifles.
15) The victim's family stayed for 6 days in Army Relief Camp under really bad conditions. (7/9)

16) Attached are the messages sent by the victim's mother while being moved to other relief camps on May 9th.
She was requesting help for the 3500 Meitei in ARC Moreh and said due to lack of security forces the Christian Kukis were still looting and burning all over Moreh. (8/9)

She even said they had to be moved fast otherwise many more Meitei lives may be lost.
17) As the Meitei were moved out in armoured busses under cover of night, they were pelted by stones and fired upon multiple times. Slogans like " Meiteis do not return" were chanted. (9/9)

18) Now in Moreh not a single Meitei is there. The Kukis are also demanding a seperate state which but a step towards secessionism.

It is high time we help the ruined Meitei people reclaim their land and deserved rights.
