STORIES FROM #IPL2023
Most people here know that I am an avid cricket fan, but the reason I love and follow sports is because of the stories & life lessons that we come across.
#IPL2023 has had many such moments/stories/ life-lessons so far.
A little thread on that.
1. "Don't give up because it's not over until the last ball is bowled/last run is scored."
GT vs. KKR.
29 to win off the last over.
Nobody gave KKR a chance, but this man.

2. "Cometh the hour, cometh the man!"
From questioning the heavens in last IPL2022 to showing Pakistanis a hell and to coming back in regal form, Virat Kohli from IPL2022 to IPL2023 is a story in itself.
3. "Buddha hoga tera baap!"
2 captains who have defied age, been out of international cricket for many years, and still continue to be the pillars of their team,
Faf Du Plessis & MS Dhoni continue to prove why, "Old is gold!"
4. "You can have the best of the best, but it's finally about having a strong team!"
16 years and counting, thank you @RCBTweets, but we have all learned the lesson.
Now focus on making sure you have 11 players & not just 3.5/4 players.
5. "No job is small!"
To keep aside your pride/ego and accept the reality as it is & take gracefully, whatever comes your way is one of the most difficult life lessons. I think we can learn from this man.

6. "You can always go one level up."
If there are players who made significantly big strides, it's these 2 young openers showing us that when the world is watching you, make sure you take your game one level up.
