CHAPTER I : THE TEMPLE
In this universe, Greek gods and goddesses have been worshipped by humans for centuries. However, at some point in the far future, humanity becomes selfish and materialistic, choosing to turn their backs on their gods. The gods, who thrive off of this worship, begin to fade
Conflict erupts in the heavens, with each god pushing the blame for this change to each other. Eventually, this blame is pushed onto Yoohyeon, one of the avatars of Hestia, the goddess of the heart and home, due to unexplained bad karma on her side. She is banished to Earth
When Yoohyeon first arrives on Earth, she sees the state the Earth is in, with humanity's selfishness and greed manifesting as pollution and resultant ruin. Upon her arrival, the human army is dispatched against her in retaliation
Meanwhile, the other 6 of Hestia's avatars congregate at the temple of Hestia, still relatively untouched by the Earth's pollution. They devise a plan to save Yoohyeon and find out why the gods are being corrupted
In the temple, Gahyeon receives a strange message from an unknown source, a black card. However, she is unable to decipher it, and so ignores it for the time being
As per the plan, Handong opens a portal from the temple to the city where Yoohyeon was suspected to have landed. She goes through to inspect it, only to find it in ruins. Whether this is Yoohyeon's doing, or the result of mankind's vices, Handong does not know
Handong finds Yoohyeon, standing in front of a statye of the goddess of Justice, Artemis, in chains and being defiled. To both of them, it becomes clear that humanity's arrogance and selfishness has been the cause. They call the other avatars over, and they join the two
Dami breaks into a government facility to uncover the cause, where everything went wrong. It is here that she discovers what she assumes to be the source of the problem - the leaders of humanity
With this new knowledge, the 7 of them plot to assassinate the world's most powerful leader, a greedy and filthy-rich man. SuA uses a portal to enter the conference room where he is, and with the power of the gods, destroys him in front of his devoted followers
However, this proves to be futile, as the problem is too widespread in humanity, and the corruption eventuallt spreads to Hestia. This causes the protection of the temple to falter, subjecting it to the same ruin, and ridding Her avatars of their powers

CHAPTER II : THE WAR
As a result of the assassination of the world's most powerful leader, a war breaks out among the people. As SuA had left no witnesses, there was no human who was aware that the assassination had been the doing of Hestia's avatars and not the rebellion against the government
The war is devastating due to the advancements in humanity's weapons technology. Entire cities are reduced to little more than rubble. The former avatars of Hestia seek refuge in an underground bunker for the time being
Once the dust settles, the 7 emerge from the bunker to see the Earth, once beautiful, now devastated. Handong discovers that the temple has been obliterated, and Dami learns of the events that occurred during the war through digital records, which infuriates her
Furious at how humanity has brought nothing but destruction to their home planet, the 7 decide to take matters into their own hands. SuA climbs up a mountain to receive what little power of the gods remains, the sky being the only source of their power left
The 7 rally up the surviving resistances, having retreated during the war. Their powers instil a newfound fighting spirit in them, and the resistances make preparations to once again attempt to overthrow the government, with the help of the 7
One by one, the 7 infiltrate the world governments, destroying them mercilessly
With humanity's leadership gone, the 7 step in to take charge, announcing themselves as the new protectors of the Earth. Dami activates giant barriers that enclose major cities, nations, and entire continents, in an attempt to protect them from further harm and rebuild

CHAPTER III - THE SIMULATION
Years pass by, with the Earth slowly healing under the protection of the 7. While remnants still remain of the old world, they choose to ignore over them, not knowing what to do with them
While nature begins to return to its original state, it can only do so in onclosed spaces, possibly due to the intense energy emitted from the barriers. As for the surviving humans, they seem to be locked in a trance. Despite these problems, the 7 are unwilling to let go
Within each "section" closed off by a barrier, there is a single pillar, designed for defence in the case that the barrier fails to serve its purpose to protect the area within
Having let go of technology due to its effects on humanity, Dami picks up a new hobby - painting. One time while she is painting, a creature emerges from her canvas, sent as a message. The creature, coming from the heavens, represents imminent tragedy. The 7 do not acknowledge it
On a fateful day, Yoohyeon senses something is about to go horribly wrong. And sure enough, while SuA and Siyeon are in an abandoned city centre, a series of energy blasts rain down, seemingly a reaction between the celestial energy in the sky and the barriers
Just as one of the blasts is about to hit SuA, Siyeon jumps in front and uses what energy she has remaining from the war to block the blast, protecting SuA but killing her in the process
When the others find out about what happened to Siyeon, they take time to grieve
Meanwhile, Siyeon wakes up in a foggy, seemingly endless staircase. With nowhere left to go, she begins to ascend
Gahyeon begins to see herself in her dreams. The other her claims to be from another universe, and had tried to contact her in the past, but had previously failed. She hands her the tarot card for Death
"I caused my universe to fall to ruin. Don't make the same mistake"
With this, Gahyeon begins to understand the truth of her reality. She rushes to the pillar and activates it with the barrier still activated, destroying it
JiU, still in the throes of her grief for Siyeon, notices a bright light coming from the entrance to the place where she is. Feeling lost, she walks into the light
Meanwhile, the other pillars in the other sections activate, destroying the barriers surrounding those sections. Not having time to run, Yoohyeon is killed in the resulting blasts
As SuA's section's barrier begins to give way, she sees a manifestation of Siyeon's spirit energy - a white pigeon. She gives chase as it leads her away from the blast, but ultimately she falls to her death
With only 3 of the original 7 remaining, they work towards helping the survivors rebuild, choosing not to act as the dictators they realised they were
As for Siyeon, after finally reaching the top of the staircase, she wakes up in her car, with her memories returned to her. By dying, she had managed to break free from the simulation the 7 of them were trapped in. She smiles to herself, remembering the lessons she learned

CORRECTION:
The tarot card presented to Gahyeon was the Six of Swords, not Death. It represents a difficult transition, inviting one to let go of things that may be holding them back in the past or the present
