🧵 how i do my notes on MS Word, a thread;

PAGE LAYOUT

• my default paper size is A4 but feel free to choose the paper size you want for your transes

• for the two-column feature: page layout tab > columns

• for margins: page layout tab > margins (i choose narrow to have more space for the notes)

HEADERS and FOOTERS

• go to insert tab > header/footer > choose any option you want

• the design tab will pop up and then if you want to have your header on the first page only, stay on the first page and click the “different first page” option

HORIZONTAL LINE

• under the home tab > click on the borders setting > horizontal line

TITLE BLOCK and TOPIC OUTLINE

• highlight the text completely then under the home tab > click shading setting or the “bucket”

• change the text color by clicking on the font color setting which i marked with the heart sticker to white if you chose a dark colored background

OUTLINE and SPACING

• for the outline, under the insert tab > add table (two rows)

• for the spacing, click on the line and paragraph spacing setting > line spacing options > mine’s always set into 0s + don’t add space …

FONTS

Font: Arial
Font size: 8
Header and Topic Title: UPPERCASE + BOLD + CENTERED
Body: mine’s not justified because again, it saves a lot more space but feel free to customize your notes to your liking

bottom line, i reallt don’t know how to make transes on gdocs^
