-answering YOUR academic struggle questions📖✍️

-a #studytwt thread [part 1]

-like/rt for more!

my suggestion would be to take it one at a time! don’t focus on the total amount of stuff you have to do, instead write down all of them and take some time every day to complete a few. make sure to only think about the ones you’re working on currently so you don’t get distracted

i used to struggle with this too. my suggestion is to study IMMEDIATELY after you come back. do not go to bed, because when i do so always end up falling asleep TT after school you’ll be more alert and you can get more work done bc you’re still in the ‘school mindset’

with burn out you can diversify your study methods and to study last minute—most effective study methods for cramming are blurting and studying mark schemes for me. i made threads on this that you can check out. with burn out also make sure to rest. (@Fhranscealle & @0paliite)

to avoid distraction, remove everything from your study environment that can potentially distract you like phones or irrelevant material. do not listen to any music. with discipline—it takes a lot of time to build it. start early and step by step. for example, revise the-

-content you learn on the same day and use active recall. then slowly build up your study hours. also finish assignments as soon as you can when they are set. also, you can just imagine how nice it will feel once you complete them all and this will motive you too.

this is going to sound very mechanical but dedicate certain amount of time to things in your daily life. for example, you can dedicate 6-7pm for family time or talking to friends etc. or you can say you’re going to study 2 hours after work every day. develop a balanced routine

though very traditional, i’d say solving practice questions and more importantly past exam questions. this will get you familiarized with the style of questions that they can ask you and how you need to apply your knowledge. also you can study some techniques (not topic specific)

—end of thread! let me know if you want part 2!!
