Never experienced @DeGods new season hype before?
Here is what you need to know about previous DeGods updates and how they affected the price action.
A thread.
For starters:
DeGods is a project that was minted for 3 Solana in October 2021.
Degods was the underdog of Solana until they took over and became the number one project of the Solana ecosystem and then they bridged to ETH.
So what can we expect from Season III?
Let's look at the first big update.
1) DUST staking.
When the Dust staking started, DeGods floor was around 5 SOL.
The utility of DUST was WL and bluechip NFT raffles.

This event was followed by #DeGodsWeek
The team started to hint additional utilities for DUST.
DeGods week was mental everyone in Solana Ecosystem would see DeGods-related posts on Twitter non-stop which brought in new investors
2) Season II (DeadGods) Art update!
After the DUST staking starts Frank started to give DeadGods art sneak peeks which hyped the community up!

End of the march the art was ready.
However, people did not have enough DUST to upgrade so DUST price was pumped due to secondary purchases.

People really fucked with the art and the floor price pumped from 80 to ATH 400 SOL within a few months.
3) y00ts Mint
Fast forward a few months the team announced a new mint Duppies (now known as y00ts kek).
This was the second collection by the team and an additional utility for the Dust token.

t00bs were minted in September 2022.
The WL process (y00ts scholarship) was mental and y00ts/DeGods were all over Twitter for weeks.

Following the previous narrative:
DeGods did a new ATH with 600 SOL.
However, right after the t00bs mint (and y00ts reveal), Solana was hit by very bad news with FTX crush and then the team announced the ETH bridge.
4) ETH Bridge.
The team announced the bridge on new year's Eve 2022.
Some hated the idea and some loved it but the team was dedicated to making this happen.

The team waited for the tech to be ready for a smooth transition.
Everything was done with one wallet with a few clicks on the first of April.

Despite the controversial decision to bridge the market liked the idea and this showed on the floor price.
DeGods reached a new ATH with 940 SOL (10.5 ETH)
Many said that DeGods will die on ETH and won't find buyers.
However despite 2 months (and no major announcement).
The DeGods floor price managed to stay somewhat stable and now sitting at lil below the 9 ETH.
So what to expect from the new season?
(Some of these are pure speculations)
1) DeGods art update.
2) New DUST utility?
3) DeGods/y00ts Points Utility?
4) Banger marketing (this is the strongest suit of the team I'm sure DeGods will be all over your timeline)
Of course with the hype coming: we can expect a floor price pump and new ATH (pure speculation based on what I have seen, not financial advice!)
Being an OG holder I have full confidence in the team and positioned my bags accordingly.

The team said it will be in Q2!
The team has a notorious DeLay culture but they were following their recent deadlines quite well.
Also, they teased SIII with a video and people already started to buy more again to prepare for SIII.
I have seen people coming up with the same arguments over and over again.
"DeGods will dump to 0 after the update"
"Whales gonna dump on you"
"@frankdegods gonna rug"
However, they were always wrong...
The team and the community keep crushing it and I'm fairly certain that DeGods are here to stay.
