Day 1. Boarded train from Delhi and reached Haridwar on time. Had to wait for my taxi guy to pick up. Once we started journey to barkot, witnessed huge traffic due to holiday season and people driving on hilly areas. Day 2: started trek from Janakicheti around 9:30 am. The climate was sunny and breezy. The trek is about 6 kms ( as per sign board) one way. Crowd was there and walking was pleasant. Day 3: Not much activity after reaching uttarakashi. After checking in the room, had a sound sleep to get rid of the tiredness due to #yamunotri trekking. Had early dinner and went to sleep. My next station is #gangotri
Day 4: left around 7 am to Ganga maiya dharshan which is approx 110 kms from uttarakashi. The driving through ghats of a hilly region requires discipline and awareness as it is not as easy as city driving. Day 5: leaving for another challenging trek #babakedarnath now.
Day 6; Reached Sirsi which is on the way to Kedarnath. Had an early dinner and went to sleep as next day is to visit #Kedarnath. Tired, but had anxiety how we manage to reach his place to have a darshan.
Day 7: Got up early morning at 1 am. By 2 am, we were ready and our driver took us to Sitapur and dropped there. Have to stand in a queue to check the Yatra registration and moved to another line which will take us to Gaurikund. Government approved taxis shall pickup from that… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I prayed hard to have a dharshan of Kedar after going through hurdles to reach there. The moment was arrived and he somehow managed to put us in a queue for dharshan. Day 9: Started our journey at 5 am in the morning to reach as fast as we can. On reaching the place, we have to stand in a serpentine queue which is almost 5 kms from the temple.
