Wow, so not only is one man responsible for our current situation with China, he is also responsible for the proxy war in Ukraine!

So not only do we have Brzezinski to thank for the slow authoritarian creep of Technocracy and Algocracy (society "managed" by "algorithms") that we see encroaching on every aspect of modern life...that he laid out in "The Technetronic Era"...

and not only the CCP/China relations ...

(which was continued by Bush et al...)

And not only do we have the legacy he left on American media

But in his 1997 book "The Grand Chessboard" he laid out the plan to force regime change in Russia using Ukraine.

The plan basically involved using NATO to "encircle" Russia.

(I knew of the pattern but had no idea it was his idea.)

He doesnt mince words at all, it wasn't a secret, he was very clear about the plan.

In fact, he got the media narrative rolling by being the first to make comparisons of Putin to Hitler.

So the prevailing question is *why*?
Why vilify one authoritarian model (Russia) and clearly prefer another (the CCP)?

I dont yet know and probably need to do some more reading before I can guess, but I suspect it is rooted in a much "older" and deeper philosophical motivation for how the world should be ordered.
