Incredibly, the world still has no idea about what really happened when John Lennon was assassinated in 1980. The following thread somewhat explains how this sad fact has come to pass
In April 2022, the New York Post covered my 3 year long investigation into John Lennon’s murder.

As they should, the Post decided to get a counter-comment from Dave Wedge. Wedge had written a 2020 book called ‘The last days of John Lennon’ with co-authors James Patterson and Casey Sherman. @DaveWedge @caseysherman123 @JP_Books

In the Post, Wedge alleged that my work was a ‘crock’ and a ‘fantasy’. Wedge claimed that they went through all the case files & the autopsy, and they didn’t find any major discrepancies. My first thought was, how did they get hold of the autopsy, as its a private medical record?

My second thought was to read their book and see what it could tell me that I might have missed. I duly did this and decided to reveal something I found, as I believe it neatly encapsulates how the world still has no idea what really happened to John Lennon on 8th December 1980.

In their description of the murder, Wedge, Sherman and Patterson state the official murder narrative that Chapman shot Lennon from behind, in the back and shoulder. They then decide to describe the Dakota vestibule as the ‘doorman’s guardhouse’. It gets worse.

Six pages later they wholly contradict their previous assertion by correctly revealing that Dr Halleran stated that Lennon had ‘four entry wounds over his left chest, three exit wounds’. This crucially important anomaly about where Chapman, the NYPD, the media and the authors…..

thought Lennon has been shot and where Dr Halleran said he had been shot, was not commented on. It was wholly ignored by the three authors & the world’s media. This is how we have got here. People who should know better have allowed the contradictory facts regarding John Lennon’s

murder to be swept under the carpet, even when the contradictions are sitting side by side and are of such crucial importance. I bear no malice to Wedge, Sherman and Patterson. They are only continuing the Lennon murder narrative modus operandi of countless other sleepwalking…

writers & journalists over the past 42 years. But now the truth about Lennons assassination must be examined anew, with keen eyes & questioning minds. Lennon was a crucially important 20th century figure who was obsessed with truth. Lets finally get to the truth about his murder.
