GK: Tiernan Brooks
Neal Ardley likes his side to play out from the back, and with Boot potentially off they might need a new keeper
Solihull aren’t adverse to a loan keeper and Brooks will be looking for a full time senior loan. Local enough too so I like the fit all round
CB: Zak Lilly
Once again, the focus has to be on defenders who are confident and capable playing out from the back
Hereford’s Lily is a defender who played more passes than most in NLS. He’s also 24, local and likely to be available for cheap
CM: Jacob Maddox
A bit of a wildcard this one. Maddox was once an extremely highly rated player, but has fallen down the divisions
He’s found even League 2 minutes hard to come by & has been released by Walsall. He might not want to drop out of EFL, but he’s local so might work
Winger: Rico Richards
Another local lad who’s been released is West Brom’s Richards. A superb technician, Richards is a natural talent who loves dribbling with the ball
While they have Kelly & Hall who can play out wide I feel they could add a more natural winger to the attack
ST: Dan Creaney
A player that Solihull have scouted in the past, Creaney is a natural born goalscorer. 35 goals last season just highlight that
Solihull have a fair few forwards, but with Dallas unlikely to renew and Kelly linked with moves away they may need another forward.
