NM: End of day 1 of Operation #Cap2Con —God put some amazing people in our path today, including an 82-year-old Army Veteran named Tom, who is also battling cancer.

He came over to offer Tim hope and told him to keep fighting.

AZ: We made it home to the Phoenix area safely.

I asked Tim today if it feels different when millions of people are saying his name to God? He says he 100% can feel the prayers and feels stronger with everyone behind him—It’s extremely encouraging.

While we were hoping Tim could be with his daughters today—That wasn’t God’s plan. But we are praying for strength and more time…

Update: Tim can’t start treatment at @MayoClinic until Thursday … “Due to the lack of material to make the Targeted Radiation mask…His appointment has been moved...”

Hopeful that their lack of urgency means Tim has more time, but this was a gut punch for us.

AZ: We (my mom and I) are managing Tim’s pain pretty well and using just about any remedy/cure/healer we can get our hands on.

I bought a swim cap so I could make Tim laugh.

The water has been a Godsend—Floating removes the effects of gravity and allows his muscles/joints to relax and decompress.

Thursday Tim update: We are doing ok today and hopeful for tomorrow’s appointment… “If” they have the materials. We are praying they do and that his appointment isn’t bumped again.

AZ: Another trip to @CrackerBarrel — Trying to be positive with today’s news… Tim can’t get in for his chemo/radiation treatment until next week now because of a lack of materials needed to make his radiation mask.

It’s back to work for me on Monday.
