I hand-wrote a thread months ago using notes from a bunch of my "lockdown reads".

Jonestown tentacles *everywhere*, even current events.

I take LOTS of photos. I carry a real camera everywhere. I spend lots of time repeatedly looking at my own photos and (often) historical photos. I skimmed through Jonestown Getty archives one night [1] and two photos in particularly just captured me.

For days I kept going back to them. staring at them. Photos like this are narrative-defying" photos. Hints. This first one is a sign that was hung on the Jonestown stage/altar.

Now why would someone hang that up?
Was it a message to the parishoners?
Or was it a message to us, the viewer?
If so, WHO exactly was doing the warning?

This thread is an exploration of these questions.

I'd read long ago that when people didnt drink the medicated koolaid at Jonestown, they started injecting one another, including the children. Even if that were the case...why'd these ****** jab the dogs too?

Are we really expected to believe that the people who administered the final shots were all among the dead? Also, why were most of these folks black? Did someone use my people yet again?

Turns out, a good chunk of these people came from inner city. Specifically San Francisco. The People's Temple. It is marked here on this map. We'll start with this marker, but add more markers as we explore the other neighbors of the People's Temple.

I wont go much into Jim Jones and how the People's Temple got to Guyana (the Marxist Cheddi Jagan, and Prime Minister Burnham who Jim Jones was really close to)

To summarize, the People's temple started in Indianapolis but grew dramatically in San Francisco. Guess what else was a few blocks away from this church in San Fran?

Anton LeVey. Founder of Church of Satan. But also connected to the Manson family (through a woman named Susan Atkins who worked for him that eventually joined the Manson family).

Also nearby the People's Temple was "Process Church of the Final Judgement", an odd group with a....uh..."strange" logo.

Robert and Mary Ann DeGrimston founded it in London (it had chapters all over) but moved to and opened a chapter in Haight-Ashbury. Charlie Manson lived two blocks from the Grimstons and reportedly joined their Church that was on the same block he lived.

The Process Church had as members the "serial killer" Sam Berkowitz known as the "Son of Sam" and Sirhan Sirhan (RFK's supposed assassin) was also associated.

I put "serial killer" in quotes above because...well....

L. Ron Hubbard founder of Scientology was friends with founder of the Process Church.

Side Note: Frank Malina, Jack Parson's JPL colleague later worked under Julian Huxley at UNESCO and has a son married to the sister of Ghislaine Maxwell. (small world)

Many Jonestown parishioners were recruited out of the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic.

John Money and Alfred Kinsey also both worked out of the Haight clinics.

John Money (the psychologist that helped contribute to "sex and gender studies" coining the terms "gender role" and "gender identity") did horrible experiments on children.

Alfred Kinsey also documented horrific experiments on children. He was responsible for the infamous and incredibly disturbing "Table 34" (which is right there on Wikipedia, I'm not putting it here) and lesser known "Table 31"

Here is that base relative to Haight Ashbury. This story (like many of these) can tentacle in many different direction, but it is noteworthy that a Colonel who I have mentioned before ( author of "The Satanic Bible") was implicated in articles about it.

Jolly West is another character that frequented the area. He is featured in the book "CHAOS" above. He worked with Manson Family, also did eval of Timothy McVeigh, testified at Patty Hearst trial, and much more "sus" stuff. odd figure.

Jolly West established the "Hippie Crash Pad" in a Victorian House on Frederick Street. In reality which it was an indirect government-funded laboratory for West's studies on the human mind.

Jolly West's "Crash Pad" was in an ideal place to "observe" (or perhaps be more proactive and perform tests).

Given Jolly West's interests, it is also important to remember where LSD came from in the first place. It wasnt just Ken Kesey, Timothy Leary, Alan Watts, and all those quirky characters. It came from earlier than that.

NOTEWORTHY: Richard Helms' so-called "LSD Sex-House" from Operation Midnight Climax was crosstown in Telegraph hill at 225 Chestnut St. but folks from there frequented Haight-Ashbury.

So, all of the pivotal cultural things that came to define the 60s, 70s, and partially the 80s and are seemingly disconnected were in-fact all ACTUALLY incubated within like a 10 block radius.

Maybe Stanley Kubrick was an "accidental documentarian" trying to allegorically hint at something?

Side note: Patty Heart's hideout was on "Masonic Street" that runs thru Haight-Ashbury.

It is almost as if Haight-Ashbury was actually not an organic "hippie free love" movement after all....but instead a more astroturfed "open air" research laboratory with lots of "operations" incubating what would become the next 50+ years of "pop culture".

From the race-relations (Black Panther Party) to the gender-sex stuff...from the music and drugs and cults...all of it. All of this nation-wide societal change incubated organically within a 15-block radius in ONE CITY, that was also home to highly state-funded "research"?

Remember Harvey Milk, the assassinated Mayor of San Fran? Well Harvey Milk refused to condemn the events at Jonestown for some VERY ODD reason. Made crude jokes and veiled statements. This is an odd thing to say isnt it?

What exactly "didnt work" according to Harvey Milk? Well maybe we can get a hint from congressman Leo Ryan who had a penchant for doing investigative journalism. And why's he buried at Arlinton Cemetery?

We have a congresswoman that "survived Jonestown".
She was elected well after events at Jonestown, and went on to serve 7 terms. So, Leo Ryan's assistant survived the poisoning and shootout, to return on the one plane that survived.

Great museum tho. I used to visit it frequently (to see the SR71) on my way to the Oregon Coast from Portland when I lived there.

@JimmyFalunGong The cemetery has been a privately held corporation since 1902 but starting in 2007 they dont stopped accepting new burials (still operating their crematorium though).

@JimmyFalunGong HOWEVER, 2014 five more victims were added to the Jonestown mass grave at Evergreen (despite the 2007 "closure") after being found abandoned in a Delaware mortuary.
Fourty years later? Found at a warehouse.

For me, the most sobering thought is that the architects of Jonestown may still be among us.

What was learned there about psychology perhaps became institutional knowledge somewhere.

Maybe one day they'll come clean with us.
