How to make incredibly photorealistic images with #Midjourney
It's easy.
Just follow these steps:
As an example, let's start with a simple prompt.
Prompt: A smiling woman with flowers
Now, let's fix the seed and make her more realistic.
You might be tempted to try adding "realistic" or "photorealistic" to the prompt.
Example: A realistic smiling woman with flowers
It doesn't work. Thanks @icreatelife for pointing this out!
The key is to add "a photo of" to the prompt.
Example: A photo of a smiling woman with flowers
Much better!
But there's a problem.
This photo is realistic, but the scene is not.
Women don't usually have flowers exploding from their hair.
The last step is to add a suitable camera + lens to the prompt.
The Nikon D850 camera with a 85mm lens is good for taking pictures of people.
They make the scene look like something from real life.
Prompt: A photo of a smiling woman with flowers, Nikon D850, 85mm lens
And that's how you make photorealistic images with Midjourney!
