According to many "leaks", Takashi Kojima will take part in the legendary episode 1071 in a few weeks, so I decided to make a thread about all his contributions to the One Piece anime, so enjoy.

Takashi Kojima's first contribution to the One Piece franchise was in the 3D2Y movie, where he animated Luffy's Red Hawk. This sequence is absolutely stunning and I really love Kojima's art on Luffy at the beginning, it makes him look so much like a younger version of Ace.

One Piece Episode 677 was the first time Kojima worked on an anime. It was about 1 year after his work on the 3D2y movie. He animated Kyros cutting off Doffy's head, it does not look as good as his cut in the movie, but it still looks pretty decent for Dressrosas standards.

After the Kyros sequence, Kojima didn't appear in the OP Anime for well over 6 months but then returned in episode 706 where he animated a short sequence of Doflamingo using his double and puppeteering Bellamy against Luffy. Again pretty great for Dressrosa standards

Takashi Kojima didn't appear in the One Piece anime for many years after that, but he did occasionally appear in some openings, such as the opening of Dressrosa, where he animated a short sequence of Sabo using Fire Fist.

Whole Cake Opening

He also participated in the first opening of wano kuni where he animated the first cut. Definitely his best work in a One Piece opening so far.

Kojima returned to the One Piece anime after 5 long years in the first episode of the Wano arc. Here he animated Zoro killing the Samurais. The choreography and camerawork in this sequence are insane. This is also my favorite piece of animation in Act 1.

13 episodes later, Kojima returned for episode 905, where he animated Luffy's red falcon. This is one of my favorite red hawks in the series so far, only Tu Yong Ce's red hawk in episode 982 comes close, more crazy stuff from the legendary Takashi Kojima.

Kojima was on a roll in the first act and returned just one episode later to animate Ace's brief but absolutely stunning Fire First. Kojima is a masterclass in drawing fire-related attacks, one of the best in the business🔥🔥.

Unfortunately, Kojima didn't take part in any further episodes of Act 1. He finally returned in Act 2 in Episode 933. Here he animated a 40+ second sequence of Zoro vs. Killer. People really underestimate Zoro's speed, so I am glad Kojima showed us how fast Zoro can move .

11 episodes later, he returned for episode 943, where he animated the anime-only scene of Sanji beating the shi@@ out of Drake. The animation in this episode was rather average, but out of nowhere Kojima started to flex and delivered the best Sanji sequence at that time.

Takashi Kojima also contributed some cuts for the 2nd Wano opening Dreaming On.

first second

Takashi Kojima also contributed to the Oden Flashback. His first contribution was in episode 961, where he animated the absolutely amazing Paradise Waterfall attack on the Mountain God. That sequence alone made me love Kozuki Oden, so Kojima did a great job.

After 11 episodes, Kojima takes part in the climax of Kaido vs. Oden, where he animates the legendary Togen Tosuka attack on Dragon Kaido. Oden's slide on Kaido's scales as he is about to launch his attack is my favorite part of the whole fight, what an amazing sequence.

After his sequence in episode 972, which was also his longest to date, Kojima didn't participate in the One Piece anime for almost a year, but he did contribute to the last OP opening, animating Hybrid Kaido who clashes with Luffy and splits the skies.

Kojima also animated the promotional clip for episode 1000 called We Are One, directed by Wataru Matsumi. Vivi's character acting and the art in the whole clip was amazing, before I made this thread I didn't even know this clip existed lol, but it's sooo good.

Toei remastered the iconic 1st opening "We Are" for the 1000th episode of One Piece and Kojima animated a short sequence for this opening as well. He animated the iconic Shanks putting his straw hat on Luffy scene.

After 43 episodes, Kojima finally appeared in the legendary episode 1015. Apparently, Kojima is a big Luffy fan, so it's fitting that he animated Luffy hitting Kaido with the Red Roc. I was absolutely speechless when I first saw this scene, Takashi Kojima at his best🔥🔥.

After Red Rock, Kojima didn't appear in another Op episode, but he did animate a short Shanks Film Red and Mercedes collab lol. I wonder why Toei didn't ask him to draw an anime sequence instead. The wait for another Kojima sequence is almost over, 6th August cant come sooner.
