In this thread I will be breaking down the Santa Claus vs. Beavis and Butthead debate and how Vaush is a bad faith debater and a pro-duopoly operative.

His entire argument is that fascism will get you murdered and that voting for Biden is the only way to prevent it.

Vaush claims that average American's most important issue isn't inflation or healthcare. It's the culture war. Then of course, he contradicts himself and says the most important issue is actually fascism. Equally ridiculous.

Vaush claims that the only way to fight fascism is to vote for Joe Biden regardless. He also says that we can somehow hold him accountable in the primaries.

"Be God's strongest soldier for Joe Biden"

Vaush says it may never be okay to vote third party.

"Maybe you die waiting"

Absolutely zero sense of urgency. He's okay with the status quo. It's working for him.

He also fear mongers that if the GOP wins we may not have another election.

Vaush says multiple times that third party candidates aren't viable because "math" and "models".

He calls third party votes a waste of a vote and protest vote.

And here's the standard thing duopolists do when they claim we need RCV but give no real plan for how to accomplish it. When called out for this, Vaush diverts the conversation. A classic debate tactic of his.

Vaush claims that the only point of electoralism is fight fascism. His only plan for real change is to "act like an anarchist."

"[Electoralism] is just holding pattern until the country collapses due to climate change."

Also, he said "electoralism is for suffering".

Vaush says positive change can come from the duopoly but then contradicts himself again by saying not much can be done within the duopoly.

"I've accepted the nature of the duopoly."

He says the idea that "corporations buy our politicians" is "phony populist shit".

And what would a shitlib debate be without voter shaming.

Vaush says non-voters and green party voters are enabling fascism.

He says that people voting who they think they should vote for is a problem. He says you should tell people who to vote for.

"Fuck their experiences"

Vaush praises Bernie for not shitting on Democrats and if he did and Trump won it would've set progressive politics back half a century. Just making shit up as usual.

"I know it sucks we have to cuck ourselves out ... but those are the rules."

When it is pointed out to Vaush that Bernie could have won in 2016 if the Democrats didn't rig the primary, he diverts the conversation back to third parties. He's such a bad faith debater.

He's concerned that MSNBC would blame third party voters for a second Trump term.

Vaush claims the Democrats have moved left over the last decade and that if a green party candidate "meaningfully" challenged them it would cause them to become more conservative. Once again, just making shit up.

Vaush claims that complacency is a huge problem because it causes "loser" Americans to not vote. He also claims we needed comfort and complacency to allow people to vote for more.

He says Bernie only got popular in 2016 because people were comfortable with Obama. Absurd.

Vaush pushes back on building an "independent media ecosystem".

"My experience with independent leftist media is that on average they're wrong more often then CNN or MSNBC."

"The most success that people on the online left have had has been in influencing Democrat politics ..."

Vaush's reason he gives for being against independent media is that Russell Brand and Glenn Greenwald are nazis/fascists. All this guy can do is name call and put labels on people. He has no real arguments.

Vaush calls RFK Jr. an anti-semite and suggests he might be a Nazi. Of course the problem with RFK Jr. isn't that he's an anti-semite. It's that he is a Zionist. Vaush once again lies and is 1000% wrong.

Days ago Vaush he said this:

"He's a crank and I don't want him out there on the debate stage making leftists look bad"

Now Vaush claims that he'd be "positively inclined" to Cornell West if he ran as a Democrat.

This guy is deeply unserious.

One of Vaush's complaints about Cornel West:

"When he goes on those shows ... he does his spiel ... Corporate politics bad. Both parties bad. You know who thinks corporate politics are bad. Nazis."

He implies Cornel West is a Nazi while also saying he's not a fascist.

Well, that's all. Throughout this debate he lies, contradicts himself, makes shit up and is a hypocrite. This guy is such a bad faith actor. It's unreal. He says "fascism" like a million times during this debate.

The reason I bothered with this is because the pro-duopoly left uses similar rhetoric but puts a less ridiculous face on it. They effectively have the same message Vaush. This includes Kyle Kulinski, David Pakman, and those types. Their messaging is the biggest hurdle to progress
