The new Guanches paper is officially out
Most male individuals were found to belong to the North African haplogroup E-M183, including the oldest male sample in the collection CAN.010 which was dated to around 1650 years before the present.
In addition to E-M183 which made up 57% of the samples, other haplogroups have been found; T (21%), E-M33* (11%), R1b-M269 (7%) and E-M78 (3%)

In terms of autosomal ancestry, the Guanches were once again found to cluster close to modern North Africans, with their ancestry being modelled as 73% Late Neolithic Morocco (Kef El-Baroud), 7% Early Neolithic Morocco (Ifri N'Ammar), 13% Germany_Bell Beaker and 6% Mota
Maternal haplogroup distribution among the 49 samples analyzed in this paper. Haplogroup H is in the lead with 39% (Mostly H1 and H4), followed by T2 and U6 with 23% and 22% respectively.
