Now that DEI (including gender ideology) is under more sustained attacks, I expect that leftist institutional actors will increasingly begin shifting the language to the UN's SDGs.
I'm going to start with SEL and then return to it later.

PART I:
SEL came from @caselorg (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning). One of its founders is David Sluyter, who worked for @FetzerInstitute as a program officer, vp, president & CEO, & senior advisor.

SEL came from @FetzerInstitute. They developed the program and then became the anchor funder for CASEL which launched in 1994. Note that they are not hiding that SEL is designed as a "spiritual development" tool.

Fetzer's "intense curiosity about the 'unseen elements of life" included a firm belief in the paranormal, ESP, seances, Ouija boards. In sum he was a New Age spiritualist. This isn't a secret. Do a search and see what comes up.

Fetzer was a devout follower of Alice Bailey, a self-identified occultist & considered to be one of the chief evangelists of the New Age Movement. Bailey was a devout follower of the Russian-German occultist, Helena Blavatsky & the Theosophy movt.

Before I share more about Blavatsky, let's put a pin in this: Alice Bailey & her husband founded the Lucifer Publishing Company in 1922. The name was changed to Lucis Trust 2 yrs later for pr reasons. Turns out most ppl didn't hold as positive a view of Lucifer as they did.

Blavatsky was the co-founder of the Theosophical Society in 1875 & became quite famous as its most popular evangelist. She dedicated her life to introducing & spreading occult ideas into Western civilization.

Blavatsky wrote about "Root Races" in, "The Secret Doctrine." Theosophists deny it's racist, but it's hard to take their objections seriously. Bailey wasn't her only acolyte. Turns out Hitler was a big fan, too. He liked that Aryans were at the top of the Root Races hierarchy

Margaret Sanger was a Blavatsky fan, too. Set aside your political position on abortion for just a minute. This thread isn't about that.
Sanger openly supported Nazi Germany's "infanticide program" in the 1930s in her magazine, "The Birth Control Review",

& publicly championed Hitler's goal of "Aryan" white supremacy. Ernst Rudin, who served as an advisor to her org, was later tapped by Hitler to oversee Germany's medical experimentation programs during the Holocaust.

SEL was designed & funded by the Fetzer Institute & is carried out by CASEL.
Fetzer was greatly influenced by Bailey, the founder of Lucis Trust.
Bailey was a follower of Theosophy and Blavatsky.
Fetzer, Bailey & Blavatsky were open about their faith in the occult.

PART II: SEL and the UN
UNESCO devoted an entire "Blue Dot" issue on SEL in 2019. They are scaling SEL globally with the intent to "develop the next generations of global citizens."
There is no such thing as a "global citizen", unless of course you have a global government.

They call for a "top-down, bottom-up approach" that includes grass roots organizing, NGOs, policy makers, departments of education, & private corporations.

"Systemic approaches to SEL are carried out in the context of a consistent, multi-layered educational system of relationships that support, integrate, and sustain social and emotional learning synergistically across contexts and over time."

The UN sees education as a primary means of social change. They want to turn children into
"engaged citizens who can help address the pressing global challenges of our times: social inequality and ecological devastation." Note the reference to "pre-modern wisdom".

What the UN refers to as "tapping into our knowledge of neuroplasticity", is no less than brain washing. They KNOW it. CASEL openly admits to having business relationships with data miners. That's why our kids are getting so many surveys.

SEL is the brain washing machine the UN needs to create an army to help achieve their precious SDGs. In this section, they discuss how to create cognitive dissonance in order to destabilize the child and then use that for "re-education."

Let's go back to Bailey and the Lucifer, I mean Lucis Trust. Bailey was an ardent supporter of the UN and she positioned Lucis Trust to be one of the UN's most trusted NGOs. Lucis has both a mediation room & a library at the UN.
