1/10. Dan, my point is that blaming the NYC rainstorm on manmade climate change is wrong.
Mankind had, indeed, caused significant environmental damage — but not via "global warming" or CO2 emissions. Global warming is benign and CO2 is beneficial.
In fact, by diverting resources which could have been used to address real environmental problems, the parasitic climate industry has significantly worsened pollution problems and environmental destruction.sealevel.info/negative_socia…
2/10. You asked whether I "understand how warm the planet is getting."
I do understand how warm the Earth is getting, but I don't think you do. However, you can learn about it here:

3/10. You also asked whether I understand "how much sea level rises" (and "how much ice has melted," which is only of concern w/r/t its effect on sea-level).
I do understand how much sea level rises, but I don't think you do. However, you can learn about it here:
4/10. You also asked whether I understand "how hurricanes get stronger."
In fact, hurricanes have not been worsening. Here's a paper about it:
Lin & Chan (2015), Recent decrease in typhoon destructive potential and global warming implications. Nature Communications, doi:10.1038/ncomms8182.nature.com/articles/ncomm…
5/10. The deceptive "hurricanes get stronger" claim is instructive, for what it reveals about how the climate industry misleads the public. Look at this graph:
The top line is the trend in all hurricanes. You can see that the frequency has been declining.
The bottom line is the trend in major hurricanes. You can see that if you go back to 1980, the frequency has declined only very slightly (though it's declined more substantially over the last 30 years).
Obviously, the news is good: on the whole, hurricanes have been decreasing in frequency, and accumulated cyclonic energy (total destructive energy) is down. However, because most of the decrease has been in relatively weak hurricanes, the average strength of an individual hurricane has increased slightly.
So the climate industry propaganda machine says,
"hurricanes are getting stronger." It is an absolutely classic example of lying with statistics.sealevel.info/learnmore.html…
6/10. Of course, the climate industry doesn't talk at all about other destructive storms, like tornadoes. That's because the decrease in destructive tornadoes has been even greater than the decrease in hurricanes.

7/10. Nor do they talk much about the very good news of how rising CO2 levels are greening the Earth.

@dankellytweets @roliy23 @PGDynes 8/10. This video is from NASA, based on satellite measurements. Does it seem like an emergency, to you?
@dankellytweets @roliy23 @PGDynes 9/10. Here's what that looks like on the ground, in the Sahel:
10/10. To understand a contentious issue like climate change requires balanced information. I'm here to help; see:
It has:
● accurate introductory climatology info
● in-depth science from BOTH skeptics & alarmists
● links to balanced debates between experts on BOTH sides
● info about climate impacts
● links to the best blogs on BOTH sides of the issuesealevel.info/learnmore.html…
