A short thread to support that Gojo is not dead but actually just close to death.
Battle of intelligence between Gojo and Kenjaku.
Gojo’s “fake” death.
It’s messy but yeah.
Battle of intelligence
Kenjaku is 1000+years old. He has planned everything to merge Tengen with humanity. While he is undoubtedly smart he looked down on others. He said that Okkotsu Yuta cannot become the next Gojo Satoru.
This could backfire by the end of the Culling Game. However we wouldn’t know what will happen to the ritual if the body of Geto Suguru dies bcs there is the rule Kenjaku added that the game will only end after all players die except Geto Suguru and Fushiguro Megumi.
Like I said, Kenjaku might know something about Gojo that we don’t. But after seeing Gojo’s “death” he must’ve brushed it off as just a hunch. And proceed with his plan on eliminating the remaining sorcerers.
Gojo’s inteligence could be on par with Kenjaku. Gojo must’ve everything planned during the one month timeskip to counter Kenjaku’s plan. He also trusts his students as he believes that his students can someday surpass him.
That’s why he had Yuji and Higuruma on standby to handle Megumi’s soul and have Yuta as insurance in case the first plan failed.
Again based on Kenjaku’s reaction about his hunch being proven wrong(Kenjaku know something abt Gojo Satoru that we don’t), Gojo might’ve planned his death(a close call) into tricking Kenjaku.
Then back to Gojo being cut in half in the end of the battle, Gojo himself might not know if he could actually do it. So he takes the risk of being cut to trick Kenjaku so he would roam free and to force Sukuna to change form.
This could also be because he needed to destroy the 10 shadows first so Yuji can fight Sukuna head on. Yuji is resistant to Sukuna’s cursed technique but he will not be able to fight the 10 shadows.
My theory is that Gojo must’ve realized how Mahoraga would adapt to his Infinity and how Sukuna will use it as model to change the conditions of his slashes. It could very risky so the theme risking death to win comes to play.
As Kenjaku stated that he had placed cursed spirits in Shinjuku as surveillance, and he could sense all of the sorcerers cursed energy especially Yuta as No.2.
This is when Ui Ui’s innate technique could play a big part on saving/hiding Gojo from the surveillance. Since Kenjaku saw that Gojo was cut in half, he might think that Gojo is really dead.
So he could no longer feel Gojo’s cursed energy. And he did not say anything abt it either.
But this could be because Ui Ui could’ve transported Gojo to some other place. But we still don’t know much about Ui Ui’s technique he did teleported his sister and himself to Malaysia after Shibuya incident.
Gojo can also use teleportation. But his hands was cut so he can’t clasp his hands to use it.
Back Megumi’s soul. The idea of Gojo faking his death to trick Kenjaku could be related to Megumi’s soul. As I said Kenjaku might’ve a backup plan in case Gojo wins the battle hence his lack of reaction after seeing the result of the battle.
Gojo might have some idea abt what will happen to Sukuna if he wins the battle instead. But Sukuna is still in Megumi’s body. Their initial plan is to save Megumi, so Gojo can’t afford anything to happen to Megumi’s soul.
They need his soul to be intact so his body can revert to normal once Sukuna is extracted.
The idea that Kenjaku can do something to Sukuna could come from their binding vow. All of this information might’ve come from Angel and Kashimo as they were also reincarnated into the Culling Game through a vinding vow.
Gojo might’ve sent the remaining sorcerers to keep Kenjaku busy while Yuji does something to save Megumi since Kenjaku might have no idea what Yuji can do.
It feels like the students and the sorcerers are pawns on the chessboard with Gojo and Kenjaku as the game masters.
I made this out of boredom as I do not wish to believe that Gojo died bcs he was reckless or underestimating or weaker than Sukuna.
He’s GOJO SATORU after all.
Shit I made a big mistake here. Gojo is not risking death to win. He’s dying to win. He’s willing to give everything he has in order to win even thought he could die in the process but he wouldn’t resign to death. 🤓I’m so done.
