The Beatles just released their final song... using AI.

Plus, huge AI developments from Midjourney, an AI cancer breakthrough, Runway, Brave, Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Cohere, and 11 new tools.

Here's the rundown of everything you need to know:

The Beatles just released their final song featuring AI-generated John Lennon.

The song was completed using ML to isolate individual tracks from an unreleased demo.

It's absolutely beautiful, I wrote up this thread with it on repeat.

Midjourney released a massive update, called Style Tuner.

There's a lot to unpack, but here's a preview of our tutorial coming out in the newsletter tomorrow.

A breakthrough study found that AI diagnoses rare cancer BETTER than biopsies.

Researchers used an AI tool to analyze scans and grade the severity of a rare abdominal cancer, sarcoma.

The tool graded 89 patients' sarcomas from scans with a whopping 82% accuracy!

Runway released a HUGE update for both text-to-video and image-to-video generation with Gen-2.

Users are freaking out about the new quality.

It's live on both mobile and web.

Browser Brave just introduced Leo, an AI assistant that secures user privacy.

The bot discards chats immediately and needs no login, with a $15 per month premium version available that integrates with Anthropic’s Claude Instant.

Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt is betting big on AI.

Schmidt is reportedly backing the nonprofit Future House and its mission to build AI to analyze research + make discoveries.

The aim — an AI conducting experiments and reaching conclusions independently 🤯

Cohere just released a new model called Embed v3.

The upgrade is for querying noisy real-world data and will significantly boost retrieval for AI writing tools, while the model’s multilingual version supports 100+ languages for searching across dialects.

11 new AI tools.

All the direct links will be included in my newsletter tomorrow.
