174.02/ The newest season of #MotzeiShabbatMovieNight began tonight with "Flash Gordon." It's a camp classic and stars Topol a'h, the wonderful Israeli actor. One of the extras on my disk has Alex Ross saying it's his favorite film!

174.04/ Look who shows up to support the Jewish community vs. who shows up to the anti-Israel rallies. The contrast is important.
A microcosm of Jewish history in exile: our neighbors wanting to kill us is a constant so it's key to watch the leaders.

174.06/ I'm, sad I can't go to the #MarchForIsrael but many in my family will represent. I did go to a Shiva minyan this morning and I had the honor of davening next to a Shoah survivor, something I always treasure. It's a priceless way to remember that #NeverAgainIsNow.

This shows the country and the world that the US government supports Jews and supports Israel.

174.11/ Hamas not only commits war crimes, their very reason for existing seems to be to commit war crimes and only war crimes, atrocities and only atrocities.
174.12/ Highlighting non-Ashkenazi speakers (and a lot of women speakers!) is a positive note for this rally, despite the dark-mark of Hagee. Jews were expelled from nearly everywhere in the Muslim world & this counteracts the slander of Jews/Israel as "colonialists".
