…with this letter. As a department, @capitolpolice does not issue anonymous press releases. Indeed, not of a political nature. This letter, drafted by a USCP officer, violates several USCP employee regulations.⬇️

Most egregiously, the author violated many departmental directives against using USCP time and resources for political purposes. @theblaze has learned that @CapitolPolice knows the identity of the officer who wrote this letter. @TheBlaze also knows the identity of the officer.⬇️
@theblaze has also learned that certain members of the Capitol press pool assisted the officer in drafting this letter. Both @capitolpolice and those media members have hidden this officer’s identity from the public.⬇️

The most ominous aspect of what appears to be a low-level cover-up is that details related to this officer’s follow-up disciplinary action by @capitolpolice were not revealed to defense teams by @TheJusticeDept before this officer testified in J6 trials. (Brady violation?)⬇️
