A second look at DH fansong 长梦应觉 (The long dream awakening by itself) and a few speculations/ramblings

Today, while taking screencaps of the songs for better avatars on youtube, I suddenly realize how downright prophetic this song is.

1. Previously, I have written an English sub/analysis thing for this song on YouTube and Twitter. Pls check that out if you have the time.

2. The sus thing here is that this specific fan song was released in August 2022, while the Hsr game itself was only release in fucking 2023. So ehm, CN fandom has always suspected that 圈太 Studio are "very dedicated early fans". 👁️‍🗨️

3. Now, armed with the knowledge of most of the 1.X cycle, we can look back to the song and detect a few sus things ourselves.
In the first half of the song, we have this line about the Azure Dragon being unwillingly woken up, which cannot be more obviously about 1.2 fight.

4. In the next line, DH complains about wanting to "forget each other at the final5 end of the dream" while standing in the Scalegorge, which was his actual sentiment back in 1.2 at the Scalegorge.

5. However, in the second half of the song, he changed his mind: he wants to travel together to someone till the end of the dream.
Doesn't this scene seem familiar?
Note: the CN here is 如果你想，我会奉陪到底, more accurately: "If you want, I will accompany you to the end."

6. And who was DH speaking to and talking about travelling to the end with in the fansong?
It's literally just Blade, with the exact same imagery used in the Blade fansong.

7. Even the poses are similar. 😂😂😂😂😂

8. So basically this song, which was released in August of fucking 2022 correctly "predicted" the entire character development arc of DH in the entire 1.X plot cycle. 2022. 😂😂😂😂
So yeah 圈太 Studio and Kbshinya are surely "very dedicated early fans".

9. OK, now it's rambling time.
In the DH 4 star song, which I like to call the sober song, the structure of the song can be roughly divided into 2, with the first half (amnesiac) being before 1.2 and second half (regaining memories) being after 1.2.

10. At the end of first half, the azure dragon was unwillingly awaken, alluding to 1.2 when Blade stabbed him. This is paralleled to the end of the second half, where DH talks about how Blade is chasing him. This is also the exact time where DH realized YX is Blade in JL CQ.

11. While the first half insisted on forgetting at the end of the dream, the second half asks Blade to travel with him again till the end of the dream, consistent with DH's new decision in the JL CQ.

13. Other sus frames: DH here sporting some real cool red eyes and red body effects. "When the dragon turns red, then the green pines shall shed." kek
Plus an eclipse in a battlefield on a mountain that strongly resembles the Sedition in the DHIL trailer released 1 year later.

14. Also, Chang'e represented.
"Dan Feng the sinner, embracing immorality and breaking the ban,
thieving immortality and inciting riot." - From Verdict.

15. So yeah, sober song sus. But it's not the only song that's sus. Left is Ichor animation released on 29/08, right is Blade fansong by 圈太 Studio and KBShinya released on 29/07.

16. This is less sus more squee, but this frame will forever be my fav in the entire song.

17. The song also claims that the flowers will be washed off all sin and return to the gentle name of the past. This is a nod to the 4 heavenly flowers in Buddhism referenced by RH flowers:
The corpse at the right is YX btw. He got nom-ed by an ink dragon.

18. Now, let's look at DHIL drunk song. The song predicted that DH didn't know YX survived, which was later confirmed in JL CQ. We know he was talking about Blade because in the first half it's the same speech.
The red blob was how he remembered YX btw.
Also ink dragon detected.

19. Blade trailer ref also confirms to us that he is talking about Blade/YX, the person he turned back to for and the person he didn't know survive the Sedition before JL CQ.
(Which means that DF died thinking that he killed YX and didn't know that he succeeded in rezzing him...)

20. Also, DHIL fansong said that DF got Shuhu-ed in the Sedition, consistent with the DHIL story 3. Shuhu IS the red moon eclipse behind DF.

21. The DHIL song also got copyright on Spotify and YouTube by Hoyo. The copyright notice got removed later on, but we still keep receipt.

23. Note that they are still officially fansongs, so they're at best secondary evidences. Also they're vague af. Theories are still best made based on actual in-game contents imo, with the fansongs acting more or less like inspo and reinforcing evidences for me personally.

24. But yeah they're very sus. At the very least, they're useful in-depth insights from people who know more about lit ref than us 😂. Banger music anyway.
To end the thread, I would like to spam this image again because man this is literally my fav frame in the Blade fansong.
