As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visual confirmation of destroyed or damaged equipment or personnel.
A fairly big Shahed attack overnight, which resulted in Ukrainian air defense shooting down 40/45 Shaheds. A good result.
Footage from Ukrainian air defense systems at work against these Shaheds
Debris from a Shahed that was shot down was found in Moldova, close to the Ukrainian border not far from the port of Izmail.
A Russian BMP hit by an FPV although it tried to protect itself with a cope cage.
Lets continue with the general events. Former US President Donald Trump, who is seeking re-election, said he would "encourage" Russia to attack any US NATO allies that he believes have failed to meet their financial obligations.
The White House responded to the statements made by Trump.
Also Stoltenberg rejected the statements and said NATO would respond if Russia would ever think of attacking a NATO ally.
As if it wasn't enough, a recording emerged moments later in which Trump rants about a meeting with Zelenskyi and then continues about him ending the war.
A close look at some of the new drones that Ukraine has to its disposal. Fedorov claimed Russia has only seen very little of Ukraine's capabilities.
Zelenskyi signed several decrees on dismissals and appointments of new members in the General Staff.
General Naev responded to his dismissal, saying the learned it from the media. Strange.
Macron cancelled his trip to Ukraine due to security reasons. This raises eyebrows with diplomats from both France and Ukraine.
Ignat commented on the status of F-16 supplies to Ukraine and the need for good infrastructure that protects F-16's against imminent Russian attacks.
Japan pledged more support for Ukraine's reconstruction.
Polish farmers have restarted protests at the border, blocking aid from and to Ukraine.
The next hurdle in aid for Ukraine was taken. US Senate passed a procedural vote. Now they work towards review and final passage. Likely within 2-3 days.

Avdiivka
➡️East of Avdiivka, Russian forces continue their advance into the private sector. Fighting is now reported west of the railway tracks, South of the Coke Plant.
➡️The AFU has reportedly sent a large group of reinforcements to the area to stabilize the situation.
A spokesman of the AFU in the Tavria region spoke honestly about a possible upcoming operational encirclement if Russian advances continued.
Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka
➡️The AFU gained control over the entrance area at the Donbas Canal while also gaining control over a treeline northwest of this area. These are the first reported gains in this particular zone since offensive actions stalled by the end of summer '23.
Makiivka
➡️After recent Russian offensive actions in the area north of Makiivka, Ukrainian troops took the initiative and regained ground towards Novovodiane. Geolocated footage shows Ukrainian presence.
