For those who don't know the IDU, it was founded in 1983 by the likes of Maragret Thatcher, Helmut Kohl, and Jacques Chirac, among others. In 2018 Stephen Harper became its chairman.

A few months back I noted that in October ABC Vancouver had brought in a new chairman, who also sat on the chair of the IDU.

And this week I noticed a name on the mayors budget expenditures. It looks like in July of last year, just before Khansar started, the Mayors office started consulting with Wellington Advisory.

I recognize this name because a few months back a friend and I stumbled across Wellington and decided to look at who they were. They share staff, founders...

... and even an address with none other than Harper and Associates. The political consulting organization started by the chair of the IDU, Stephen Harper.

Now to be fair, that address looks to be a shared mailbox between a bunch of groups. However, a lot of them seem to have some similarities. For example, 13753301 Canada Inc, which did management consulting for Poilievre.

And law firm Blue Rock Law, founded by Stewart Maier, who signed the signatory papers for 13753301.

A quick look on Linkedin will tell you, Wellington and Harper & Associates are the same company.

And I mean, really, Wellington Advocacy? That's the most Stephen Harper name ever.

So Vancouver's leading political party has an IDU member on its board and hires the consulting firm of the chairman of the IDU, which has its hands in multiple Canadian scandals, the Freedom Convoy, and Trumps failed overthrow of the US government.
