The @FischerKing64 kicked off a new discourse on the problems surrounding "RW art."

I'm the creator of a new form of musical expression called "Spatial Surrealism." It is novel. I'm the only one on the planet who knows how to do it.

Thread 🧵

2/ Instead of a white paper explaining the theory, I wrote a piece proving its efficacy as a new mode that INCREASES the aesthetic impact of a musical composition.

3/ It is a piano concerto that utilizes a new set of notation symbols of my invention to indicate *where* a sound source is in a space, and its movement through that space. (see the summary page in the photos in initial poast)

4/ While this might sound a bit too abstract, the fact is that my discovery here is the most promising new thing in classical music in decades. Rightly used, this method is easily perceptible and makes for Beautiful results.

5/ But since this is a piece of art, not an essay, the piece is a showing (not telling) of the cycle of regimes now interrupted by the usurpation of old cycles by new digital ones... allegorically not dissimilar to that of the progress/experience of contemporary music.

6/ All that to say, these were explicit goals from the conception of the piece through the whole process.

I even brought on an advisor by the name of Conrad Pope. He is John Williams' orchestrator, the best in the world in fact. He has been a critical mentor.

7/ Poasts from @ScottMGreer, @DarrenJBeattie, @bronzeagemantis, and others raise good questions about talent, audience, and money as it concerns the viability of a RW art.

I insist I've solved these problem, with the exception of getting the $87k to record it with an orchestra.

8/ Granted, this is not a political piece of art, despite it borrowing from political philosophy for the subject...

But insofar as it can be called "RW," as defined as subversiveness of the current high arts regime / wall of the avant garde, it's a winner.

9/ The world is rife with grifter morons, which keeps observers or art enthusiasts on guard, but I wouldn't talk this much shit if what I've done wasn't an undeniable slam dunk. /end

ps; @michaeljknowles just repoasted the thread... he actually heard an early draft 4-5 years ago of the 1st movement & was very complimentary 😁
