Israel sold Iran spareparts for F4 Phantom Planes and weapons and In return Khomeini was to allow large numbers of Jews to leave for Israel

Khomeini then conspired with Israel in the October Surprise to let Ronald Reagan win the elections
In short, Khomeini would not release the American hostages until after the U.S Election so Jimmy Carter would lose the elections.

Shortly before taking the hostages, Khomeini's defence minister paid one of the hostages $5 million for the resumption of weapons deliveries
Israel also continued to provide arms to Iran in this period
Khomeini was promised by the CIA and Israel more arms deliveries, once the hostages were released
Iran in the end recieved $52 Million funnel through Saudi Arabia for 52 hostages by the U.S.
As soon as Reagan became President, the approval for weapons sale to Iran was approved
Israel started fully supporting Iran, to the extent they formed a Joint Committee
Between 1981-1987, Iran purchased weapons for over $240 Billion (adjusted for inflation) from the U.S.-Israeli Joint Committee
Mohsen Kangarlu also reveals that the U.S. said " We will make you win the war" and that they had no issue with Khomeini
He was one of the Iranian officials responsible for contacts with Israel/U.S. He recorded the interview on condition that it be shown after his death
Albert Hakim confirms that they wanted to cooperate with Iran to depose Saddam and gave security guarantees to Iran incase of the Soviet's invaded

Israel used the profits from the arms trade with Iran for primarily 3 things:
- Fund the Likud Party
- Fund false flag Israeli controlled "Palestinian Terrorists" to tarnish the Palestinian cause
- Build Settlements in the West Bank & Gaza
Mohsen Kangarlu also admits that the only Major Military Victory, Iran had after 1982 would be impossible without U.S. Support.
