Academic who researches the right realizes he can’t get a job because he’s a white male.
He complains, gets laughed at by a woman at Yale. He accuses her of “punching down” at him, thinking lack of employment makes up for his race and sex.
Talk about a teachable moment.

@hradzka They continue to torture the poor man.
@hradzka The naiveté is incredible. Imagine being an academic and thinking you could appeal to a leftist black scholar, expecting her to sympathize with your situation, while complaining about affirmative action. Seriously, how do you spend time in academia and remain this clueless?
@hradzka This is pathetic. My advice to @DavidAstinWalsh is that there’s no coming back from this in academia. Preserve your dignity at least. You’re good at self-promotion and would probably be able to make it as a public intellectual.
@hradzka @DavidAstinWalsh “Despite my work explicitly being about white supremacy.”
