To further illustrate the idea, here are some examples of games that I think almost fall into this category, but are just shy of it for one reason or another:
Saw this term a couple times, and, I don't want to be *too* harsh, it's not completely terrible, but I think if I told Jon Blow "I loved your brainvania" he'd scowl at me
Conversely, iirc "epiphany-driven" is basically how he already describes the game (he just won't admit it)
