1/ My school district has a secret gender transition plan for students. It helps them transition at school while keeping it hidden from parents and others. It's called an "Identity Support Document" and it is creepy...🧵
2/Page 1 let's students and staff know our district is dedicated to being intimately involved with the sexual expression of the children in their care:
The following document is provided to assist District Employees in supporting students who have approved staff members regarding their gender identity and expression and the need for support in the school setting
Share with student: The purpose of this document is to ensure that every student feels supported. This document will create a shared understanding about the ways your gender identity will be supported by the Capistrano Unified School District.
3/A little further down are boxes for a student to provide their "chosen" name, their "sex assigned at birth" and their "gender identity." They've helpfully named just a few identities to get the kids started. Just because gender is unlimited doesn't mean paper is.
4/ perhaps most disturbing is the question about parents/guardians, all the way to the bottom, lurking like a beat up old white box van with a clown in the driver's seat passing out free candy...Is this person aware of your secret? The school has to know who to lie to
5/Page 2 explains that you can change your name/identity in the online portals, but if you're worried your parents will see (we have access to the portals) you can choose to keep it a secret with certain adults at school. It can't be grooming if it's in the official school paperwork, right??
If you change your name/gender in Aeries and Canvas, staff will have access to that update. If you do not change your name/gender in Aeries and Canvas but are requesting that some or all members of the school community use your preferred name/gender, let’s talk about how that will be communicated and to whom.
6/The plan also provides a snitch section to report on "unsafe" students or situations. Please keep in mind that when female students in our district approached admins about feeling unsafe with boys able to be in their bathrooms, they were offered therapy for their bigotry
7/You'll also notice it allows the student to choose which bathrooms, locker rooms and athletic teams they prefer. The CA education code does contain this reference, but the bill it uses as legal precedent AB1266 contains no such language or provision.
8/Page 3 makes room for the child to spill any other secrets they might have. And while all this is absolutely NOT supported by AB1266, @AGRobBonta is suing school districts across that state that have enacted parental rights policies. This is the perversion we battle here
9/The plan was originally called the "Individual Transition Plan" but when parents got wise to it, they pulled, revised and refiled it under its current name. They blatantly deceive parents and then gaslight us and abuse us with gross perversions of the law meant to protect us
10/I live in a conservative area and we have a liberal school board. It happens when ppl get comfortable. I ran for this board and lost in 2022. The board remains a progressive nightmare in a conservative bastion. Nothing changes if good people don't step up.
11/If you think your district is safe from this nonsense, you should think twice. Poke around and see if they have one of these plans. If they do, send me the evidence and I'll share. Thanks to for digging this up and compiling the info.instagram.com/caparentsright…
