Kursk operation - Day #16 - A thread

An overview of all events in the Kursk border operation will be combined in this thread

Ukrainian forces have regained control over Martynovka after it was in a gray zone due to Russian counterattacks. In geolocated footage, AFU forces were also seen advancing east of the town near the railway tracks. Fighting is reported towards Russkaya Konopelka and Pushkarnoe.

Did you miss the events yesterday? You can find them here in this thread.

According to Akhmat commander Alaudinov, all is well.

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces are using drones to target Russian engineering equipment and are coordinating HIMARS strikes on crossings and pontoon bridges in the Kursk region.

"Akhmat" is preparing to repel an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said the unit's commander Apti Alaudinov

"The situation [in the Kursk region] is under control. The enemy is busy regrouping. I am not ready to say at the moment where he is going to strike. But there is a general analysis, a rough idea of what he is going to do, too. We are also preparing for his next strike," he told RIA.

New geolocated footage confirms AFU advances north east of Korenevo near the railway tracks east of Aleksandrovka. This would mean that the AFU has either bypassed Vetreno-Durovka south of that position, or that the AFU already controls these settlements. Needs some more clarification.

The administration plate in Sverdliikove, Kursk region, has been replaced.
