SitRep - 30/08/24 - Air Force commander got dismissed
An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi decided to replace the commander of the Air Force, and meanwhile Russia is continuing its advance in the east.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include footage which shows confirmed destroyed or damaged Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Shahed drones were launched and shot down overnight.
R-73 air to air missiles used to destroy Russian Shaheds.
Early in the morning, Ukrainian drones were noted in the Kaluga region.
In the Kurakhove direction, the 46th Air Mobile Brigade repelled yet another big Russian assault, destroying 13 out of 17 armoured vehicles.
The Atlas oil depot in Rostov is still burning.
The oil depot in Proletarsk is also still burning, and satellite images show damage to at least 20 tanks.
Lets continue with the general events. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Landsbergis spoke only facts.
In yet another move to close Russian exports to Europe, Ukraine will cut off gas supplies through the Druzhba oil pipeline.
Hungary and Slovakia do not support lifting the restriction for Ukraine on striking deep inside Russia with EU supplied weapons.
Zelenskyi has removed Mykola Oleshchuk as Air Force commander. No reason was given, but this probably has to do with the lost F-16.
Putin will soon visit Mongolia, which ratified the Rome Statute, but Putin will likely not be arrested.
Almost 60.000 Ukrainian soldiers are now trained by EU countries.
Preparing for such a decision, Russian politicians started threathening already.
Romania will start the official debate on the transfer of a Patriot battery to Ukraine next monday.

Pokrovsk axis
➡️Russia has taken over Kalynove, and has advanced towards Halytsynivka. The goal is to cut off Ukrainian forces still situated near Nevelske.
➡️The AFU repelled an attack on Selydove.
➡️AFU reinforcements have arrived.
Kupyansk axis
➡️Russian forces have taken control over Stel'makhivka, at least over the eastern part. The village is divided by the Zherebets river.
