Russian channel Two Majors claims that the information about Ukrainian units entering Veseloye, Glushkovo border area in the Kursk region is incorrect. On the other hand he claims that 10 km east, near Medvezhye, Ukrainian artillery is targeting Russian positions in an effort to break through the defense.
Russian sources claim this is the Russian flag, planted on top of a building in Snagost', Kursk region by units of the 51st Guards Airborne Regiment. Image is not geolocated so it cannot be determined whether this is true or not.
That was fast.. the image is indeed geolocated inside Snagost', map adjusted accordingly. Russian reports that the fighting is happening between Obukhovka and Lyubimovka is becoming more likely. The fate of Vishnevka and Apanasovka is still unknown, but we do not expect good news there.
Geolocated footage released by Russians confirm - despite some Russian sources denying it - Ukrainian presence in the village of Obukhovka, Kursk region in the direction of Glushkovo. The advance is ~2km from the Russian-Ukrainian border.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that three attempts by Ukraine to breach the border were repelled with the support of aviation and artillery, with Ukraine allegedly losing up to 50 personnel, five tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, nine armored combat vehicles, two trucks, and two engineering vehicles.
Unfortunately for them, geolocated footage already proved otherwise 🙃
Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) ambushed Russian soldiers in the Kursk region. The operation resulted in one Russian soldier killed and two wounded.
Russia has begun deploying more experienced units to the Kursk region to support counterattacks and future operations, according to the Institute for the Study of War. Notably, additional units from the 106th Airborne Division have been deployed.
