Exposing Manchester City's 2021/22 title.

The most blatant corruption in football history πŸ€‘πŸ’°πŸ’°

(A thread.)

You simply had to be there to understand the level of favouritism received by City week in and week out during the 2021/22 season. We all remember it.

This was a season which the title was decided by just one point, where any single result would have swayed the title.

We begin with this absolute travesty of a game.

Gabriel sees RED for Jesus running into him.

VAR does NOT check for a penalty on Ødegaard.

VAR does check thoroughly and CREATES a penalty on Bernardo Silva.

Man City 2-1 Arsenal. +3 points to City.

Against Wolves, VAR continues this theme of EXTENSIVE checks to create penalties for City

To this day, no one understand this decision.

Man City 1-0 Wolves. Again, all +3 points to City.

In that same game, Raul Jimenez was sent off in the first half against City for two yellow card offences within 31 seconds.

The first of which he was given for WINNING the ball.

And while City seemed to receive favourable red card calls willy nilly

VAR failed to intervene on this challenge on their title rivals. After a ridiculous quick check, the challenge was cleared. No red card.

West Ham 3-2 Liverpool. -3 points to LFC.

Then against Newscastle, referee Dermot Gallagher agreed this SHOULD have been reviewed and awarded a penalty.

VAR as usual fails to intervene

The scoreline was 0-0 at St. James Park. VAR later go on to award City a goal.

City claim all +3 points.

According to Referee Dermot Gallagher this also SHOULD have been a red card.

VAR does NOT check for a red card to Robert Sanchez for this horrific challenge on Luis Diaz.

Remember, one point decided the title.

Liverpool 2-2 Brighton. -2 points to LFC.

VAR doesn't check this penalty on Jota.

Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool. -2 points to LFC.

In this same game, VAR doesn't check the red card for a completely reckless Kane challenge, yet does check Robertson's and send Liverpool down to 10 men.

Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool. Liverpool lose the league by one point.

And while their title rivals struggled to receive the most blatant of decisions, Manchester City continued to benefit from VAR generosity.

Laporte goes down in a tussle that occurs in 90% of Premier League matches. Referee doesn't see substantial impeding.

VAR has other ideas.

Then in the 62nd minute against Southampton, it was 0-0 as Armstrong went through on goal before being brought down by Walker.

The on-field decision is a penalty and red card.

Despite no clear and obvious error from the on-field referee, VAR orders him to rescind the decision.

And this is not even scratching the surface. We all remember that "apology" from the Premier League right?πŸ€‘πŸ’°πŸ’°

Rodri rounded off a season of the most blatant corruption seen since the SAF era with this handball which infamously not given.

As usual, +3 points to City.

Never forget this. Pure corruption.
