/ The containers story
In the Nova party compound, two large yellow dumpsters were placed.

/ On October 7, immediately after the missile launch by Hamas, the party was halted, and the attendees attempted to escape the area in their vehicles unsuccessfully. Most of them were murdered on route 232 (including some of my friends)

/ Around 8:15 AM, Hamas terrorists arrived at the entrance junction to the Re'im parking lot and attacked the police force and several cars trying to escape the lot. Some young people fled back to the party area, and about 16 of them hid inside the dumpster.

/ At around 9:20 AM, the terrorists disguised as soldiers reached the dumpster area and began slaughtering the young people hiding outside. Most were murdered, but the people hiding inside the dumpster stayed unharmed.

/ As they hid, they covered themselves with garbage bags and remained silent as much as they could. THEY COULD HEAR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED OUTSIDE: the screaming, the gunfire, the raping, the abductions, the desperate plea for life before being murdered in cold blood.

/ As hours past, those hiding inside the dumpster continuously updated their loved ones about their location and the horrors they witnessed, desperately calling and begging for help. None of the terrorists swarmed around the dumpster for hours. They thought they could be saved.

/ At 11:47 AM, a lone terrorist entered the dumpster and indiscriminately opened fire on everyone inside. The shooting resulted in the death of 9 people. The rest were saved by hiding under their loved ones dead bodies.

/ At 12:30, the IDF military force from the Givati Brigade arrived the area. After battled fiercely through the chaos of the party area, they reached the dumpster, where they had to fight numerous terrorists and heroically saved the other 7 survivors.

/ For the 9 murdered victims, it was too late. Let us all remember Ron, Amit, Einbar, Yiftach, Elkin, Mai, Eliran, David, and Hadar. And may we never forget October 7th.
