Well, this is a very strange Trump Town Hall in Pennsylvania. It turned on a dime after two Trump supporters passed out/fainted/needed medical attention in back to back episodes that paused the Q and A format for a while.

The Q and A portion never restarted after four questions mostly on the economy. Trump talked for a little and decided instead to play his favorite music to the crowd. He’s standing on stage. We’ve listened to opera songs Ave Maria, Con Te Paritiro and now we are listening and watching James Brown and Pavarotti on video singing “This is a Man’s World.”

Trump urges people to vote and then plays the YMCA.

No one is going home, Trump says.
He now is playing “Hallelujah.”
“We love you Trump!” Someone yells from the crowd.

We’re still here and so is most of the crowd. A question has not been asked in more than a half hour.

Now Trump is notably playing a music video of Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares to you.” O’Connor’s estate asked Trump to stop playing her music at his rallies. She once called Trump a “biblical devil”.

Again, here we are.

It is 8:17 and we are now watching Elvis perform “An American Trilogy.” Trump is still on stage with moderator Governor Kristi Noem.

Now, we are the “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony portion of tonight’s impromptu concert. Trump on stage. A lot of the crowd still here.

8:27pm Trump now enjoying November Rain by Gun N’ Roses at what was supposed to be about an hour long economic Q and A derailed by a man and shortly after a woman needing medical attention.

People have been standing outside since early this morning before 8am for a 6pm rally that did not start until shortly before 7pm.

8:31pm Trump plays Axl Rose and mid-song waves to the crowd and goes off stage.

8:36 Trump shakes hands with people in the crowd who came for a town hall and left with memories of a concert of Trump’s favorite musical hits. Barbara Streisand’s Memory is playing.

I mean I don’t know what happened tonight other than two people needed medical attention and it became clear Trump didn’t think Q/A should continue. So he started playing some music and continued to play more music when the crowd didn’t seem to want to leave. So for about an hour there was an impromptu concert. Idk. Goodnight.
