FBI’s crime data explorer has a new category called “not specified” this is different from “unknown”
Left is 2022’s homicide data and right is 2023's data with the new “not specified” category
Note: the 2023 numbers are now below 50% for black homicide offender

All 10 homicide offenders race are listed as “not specified” for 2023
Notice no victims are labeled as white

What he notes is this is from the Springfield PD censoring this data since 2021, not the FBI. But its still doesn’t make sense why the FBI added this new field.

With this new skewed data it now appears like blacks commit less than 50% of the homicide which I hope this thread just proved to you isn't the case.
