IIRC bullies are typically dysfunctional/anti-social people chimping out (been a while since I read any studies on bullying). They aren't anti-degeneracy crusaders.
Bullies aren't ubermensch, they're usually scum kids from scum families. From memory, predictors of bullying are being poor, dumb, mentally ill, dysfunctional parents, etc.
Right-wingers have internalized Hollywood propaganda of bully-as-popular-high-IQ-Aryan-jock, when really it's some braindead ape from the bottom of the social food chain beating up a smart autistic kid for his love of dinosaurs or whatever.
Someone sent me a study "proving" that bullies "grow up to be more economically successful." It grouped bullying with various "conduct problems;" for men, these behaviors were 4 times more predictive of getting arrested than being economically successful. For women, 2.5 times.
These "conduct problems" included being sulky, easily frustrated, excitable, complaining about things, humming, and rhythmic tapping. Intelligence and familial socioeconomic status were most predictive of economic success.
Here's a 2008 paper from Britain (chosen to reduce the racial element). Bullies were significantly less educated and slightly less economically successful than the never-bullied. The frequently-bullied ended up least economically successful, the sometimes-bullied most successful.
