There are parts of the S/C on topics about which my tweets get widespread attention –
especially the overpriced, late and dangerously substandard kids meds that GoA wants you to think came directly from Atabay –
but in reality came through markup middleman MHCare Medical.
On my own initiative, I'll be cautious, at least until Statement of Defence is filed, because I don't want to unintentionally rebut in advance a stupid defence that GoA/AB Health/AHS might rely on.
No idea whether GoA will use $$$ external counsel, as they did in CM v Alberta.
AFAIK, I have never had any contact with Ms Mentzelopoulos (and keep spelling her name wrong) or the law firm and lawyers representing her.
I am not an insider to GoA/ABHealth/AHS or MHCare Medical. I am not a competing supplier. I have no conflict of interest.
Some of the facts listed in Ms Mentzelopoulos S/C overlap with content in my twitter threads which were accused of being defamatory in Mraiche's S/C against Nate Pike and @TheBreakdownAB (but not me 😓)
These coincidences are not surprising.
In my opinion, based on all the defences in Grant v Torstar, GoA/AB Health/AHS are not dealing properly at arms-length with MHCare Medical.
It seems more like a joint venture extracting as much pubic funds (taxpayer $) for itself. See messy pencil/paper "true org chart" IMO.

@SweetieCanuck @TheBreakdownAB @PfParks @JMeddings I'm sure if a certain Justice Minister still had the job, he would call EPS Chief of Police right away on his personal cellphone and complain about it.
Another might go to RCMP Commissioner's house and scream at him in front of his kids.
Lots of possibilities with these folks.
