Our very own @DmytroKuleba offered valuable insights on the current shitshow:

If mom/dad, wife/husband,
a child or friends ask you "What's going on?" and you want to give an honest answer, then you can say something like this: 🧵

1/7 Trump fulfilled Putin's dream - solving problems directly with the USA, without EU or any others. He thinks this is recognition of the greatness of Moscow. However Trump's goal is not Putin's greatness, but his own, and where it's necessary to push Putin for this, he will do.

2/7 Just because Russia has begun direct talks with USA doesn't mean an agreement is there. Putin can still disappoint Trump. We're at the early stages of the process filled with info noise but lacking results. So, keep your common sense close - both you and Ukraine will need it

3/7 A key sign of a potential agreement between Putin and Trump would be a reduction in offensive and missile strikes.
Everything else is just talk.
However, this won't signal the war's end, as Putin hasn't cancelled his main objective - the full destruction of Ukraine.

4/7 European leaders are tentatively discussing troop deployment to Ukraine, and diplomats are exploring options.

However, these won’t be combat units supporting us or full-fledged peacekeepers preventing Russian attacks. Don’t deceive yourself.

5/7 EU has recognized that the USA has turned its back on them. This is good for both EU and Ukraine. However, prolonged debates over solutions could lead to negative consequences for both. Without a resolution the war may reach EU cities, with no American support forthcoming.

6/7 🇺🇦 It will be difficult times for Ukraine. The window of opportunity is closing.

However, we still have the means to resist. All efforts now should focus on boosting internal unity, promoting the Ukrainian narrative globally, and countering Trump's influence.

7/7. In the weeks ahead, don’t seek any bright news.
Instead, focus on your loved ones and how you can support them and Ukraine's defenders.
Remember: everything will be alright in the end; if it’s not alright yet, then it’s simply not the end! ✌️
