Here's a brief glimpse of the horrors that befell Syria in the last 24 hours.

Horrors that were caught on camera by their own perpetrators.

Summary execution of Alawite civilians:

Alawite men in civilian clothing gunned down:

"Don't waste more than one bullet he doesn't deserve more."

Point blank execution of what seems to be a teenager:

Alawite men made to crawl on the ground and then gunned down:

HTS telegram channel post brags about beheading an Alawite:

The HTS fighter tortures and then murders him:

"Kill this pig"

A random house in an Alawite neighborhood in Homs is set ablaze by the HTS fighters:

"Haidar" (Alawite name)

"You're a pig"

"Walk them further, I don't want to kill them in front of the women."

"Stop. Kneel there. Start barking."

HTS fighter tortures an elderly Alawite man and then fires at him.

Summary execution of an Alawite man in an orange orchard:

Alawite or Christian wine or arak maker killed and submerged in his product:

"These pigs are infidels."

Humiliation rituals of Alawite men:

The man is repeatedly beaten and called "pig."

In the second video they ride a man and make him bark.

HTS fighters drop bombs from a helicopter.

Bombs dropped from helicopter land on Alawite village.

HTS fighter describes the corpses of Alawites as "Nuseiri pigs."

Context:

HTS makes promises of security to Alawite community. Promise is clearly broken as documented in a series of clear violations.

Feb 27th HTS fighters summarily execute 4 Alawite men in a grocery shop:

Random mass arrests and murders against the Alawite community in early March:

ISIS flag driven around Alawite neighborhoods and towns---communities told to disarm and promised security:

At the same time as provocations and violations escalate, security officials are on camera calling Alawites "pigs."

This has become standard nomenclature in HTS-lead Syria. Alawites are called pigs and their dehumanization is nothing but genocidal.

HTS fighters fire rounds and blare sectarian Nasheeds in Alawite towns:

On the 6th of March, an HTS patrol chasing an Alawite commander is ambushed. 15 HTS fighter killed.

In 2011, based on false accusations that Qaddafi called opposition in Benghazi "Cockroaches," NATO launched a #RightToProtect / #R2P military operation and destroyed his army.

Yet the collective West is now shamefully silent as it observes the fruits of its labor.
