SIDE BY SIDE: Just how different is the new CBB House? 🧵

Take a look at the Big Brother House before and after its Celebrity glow up.

The sofas are now between the kitchen to the left and garden to the right. The living area ceilings seem lower but not by much.

Where the kitchen stood is now the entrance to the bedroom.

The largely vacant corner of the living area to the left of the screen is now the kitchen.

The stairs to the Mezzanine are gone and the hallway to the Store Room is now off of the relocated kitchen.

For comparison here’s the kitchens side by side.

The Diary Room corridor now slants the other way and no longer leads to the bedroom and bathroom.

The Diary Room chair now has gold stars and cushioning plus a new red backdrop and carpet.

The bathroom was previously to the right of the Diary Room but is now accessed inside the bedroom. It’s now roughly in the area where the Mezzanine lift and a living area toilet used to be.

With the shower and armchairs relocated the equivalent space now houses two toilets.

The bedroom is now accessed where one of the arched double beds would have been so that double has shifted to the middle of the room in the space of the former entrance. What was the toilet is now the bathroom. (Second two pics are opposite vantage points across the room.)

There’s no need for a long corridor to the garden anymore which now has glass double doors that will let much more natural light into the living area.

The main entrance is now roughly where the phone and hatch used to be.

The hot tub returns slightly further from the House.

The garden appears to be wider but perhaps shorter compared to the old House. The paint drip wall has been flipped to the opposite side.

The outdoor sofa returns with a new cover and even more festoon lights above but it’s now to the right as you step into the garden.

The Mezzanine has been replaced by a new garden Snug. (RIP my favourite room in the House!)

Big Brother never provides photos of the Store Room so I’ll probably (definitely) be more excited to see that tonight night than the Celebrity HMs.
